Goska's
My name is Goska. I am a computing student and this is my practice website. Eventually the site will become my personal website. I am planning to start gradually adding "real" pages in 2007. I hope I will find enough time!
My main interests include:
- astronomy, and science in general
- Braille (I have been working for the Royal National Institute of the Blind* as a Braille transcriber and proofreader since 1998)
- web applications and programming
- assistive technology
- music.
* On 1 June 2007 Royal National Institute of the Blind changed the name to Royal National Institute of Blind People (see the article Take a fresh look at RNIB. The name change was accompanied by the publication of a new logo (audio and tactile versions were released simultaneously) and a strapline:
"Supporting blind and partially sighted people".
The abbreviation remains the same, RNIB.
In the meantime, you can visit my blog at http://goskas.blogspot.com/
